- Gary Rose on drums. Melt Plastic Group under beautiful liquid lights by Innerstrings at The Hope and Ruin (Feb 2019)
-
- Indoor Pets playing The Factory Live, Worthing as part of Independent Venue Week. Shot for Yamaha Europe's Sound Sense magazine.
-
- Pete Doherty and Carl Barat, The Libertines at the Brighton Centre, Nov 2018. Shot for Brighton Source
-
- 60s psych vibes in full motion with The Psycho Relics, under Innerstrings lights. The Hope and Ruin, February 2020.
-
- Japanese Television played a stormer at The Hope & Ruin, Brighton. Acid Box Promotion's pulling off another ace line-up.
-
- Deerhunter frontman Bradford Cox was on electric form, although my favourable review on Brighton Source caused a stir when I posted it. Turns out a dancing competition, mid-set, was not to everyone's liking!
-
- This Resident Record's 'outstore' show was a stunning, stripped down show, the first airing of 'Kiwanuka', 2019
-
- Love the Los Bitchos girls, incredible tequila-swigging swagger. Shout to @cfaruolo - an ace music photographer herself. Shot for Brighton Source at Patterns, 2019.

The name Time for Heroes photography was born out of a love of Roger Seargent’s early photos of The Libertines, capturing the bohemian and freewheeling spirit of the indie / rock’n’roll revival that graced the UK’s music scene in the early noughties.
Fast forward (a fair few) years and you can find me at the front of many gigs, from Concorde 2 to The Hope & Ruin and beyond. Inspired by my love of live music, the kick of capturing the moment never fades.
As a music photographer for Brighton Source, I’ve had the pleasure of taking live music photos & reporting on hundreds of bands in Brighton since 2013. I’m lucky to have snapped many bands that I adore, including Idles, Libertines, BRMC, Metronomy, Slaves, Yak, Sports Team, The Murder Capital, The Blinders.
If you need live music photos of your band or event, get in touch*
